PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road’s popular crab buffet is back with a vengence! Commencing from 1 May 2017, on Thursdays to Sundays, eve of and on Public Holidays.
Taking the favourite crab buffet to another level, Executive Chef Low Hoe Kiat brings us eight brand new crab flavours, totalling up the freshest crustacean buffet to a sum of up to 12 tantalising selections.
The Slow-braised Pumpkin Crab in Claypot is here to stay but even tastier than before. The deliciously creamy yellow-golden gravy of this pumpkin dish is enriched to mesmerise one’s palate. Additionally, diners get to indulge in all-time favourite Chilli Crab, Black Pepper Crab and a dish back by popular demand, the Crab Bee Hoon– definitely a local favourite way to enjoy this valued crustacean.
One highlight this season will be the Wok Fried Crab in Wu Jia Pi Wine – this dish is a family recipe passed down to Chef Low. The wonder of this creation is in the marriage of the Chinese wine when flambéed, igniting dancing flame over wok-fried crab before serving up the buffet line, leaving an unforgettable flavour on your taste buds!
Salted Egg Crab with Curry Leaves will grace the buffet line once again, bound to steal hearts! Opt for something “uniquely Spice Brasserie” with our Stir Fried Crab with Asian Spices, for tasty crabsfried with chilli padi, and dried shrimps. The Cheesy Crab Cake made with potato, celery, carrot, cheese, nutmeg and of course, crab meat under a light crusting of panko is thoughtfully crafted, especially in size, so you can enjoy popping them as appetizer before digging further into the Endless Crab Party.
There are more new creations such as Crab in Steamed Wine, Rock Salt Baked Crab and Stir Fried Crab with Jalapeno. Apart from the many must-try dishes, diners are entitled to one serving per person to relish the exquisite flavours our Flame-grilled Mentaiko Lobster, a dish that one cannot miss.
